David has been climbing since he was 16 years old. His passion for mountaneering grew and has taken him to lead expeditions in Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, and Argentina. He is a member of the Ecuadorian Association of Mountain Guides (ASEGUIM) and the International Association of Mountain Guides Associations (UIAGM). David has guided climbs from the most basic rock climbing and mountaineering objectives, to difficult big walls. His passion for climbing and helping people reach their climbing goals is evident in his guiding. He is an extremely hardworking, positive, and patient guide. He considers his work is the bridge between people’s dreams and reality. When he is not climbing, you can find him working as a freelance teacher at the University of Quito.
