Romel has been involved most of his life in outdoor sports in Ecuador, twenty years working as a guide and several outdoor races on his belt. He is a passionate photographer. A certified ASEGUIM guide and in addition he holds a degree as   Environmental Engineer.
His extensive climbing background includes all of the mountains of Ecuador with some unusual routes, and several 6.000 m peaks in the rest of South America
His love for the Ecuadorian mountains and people, and his knowledge of the culture of Ecuador make him a great trip leader. He is a internationally certified mountain guide ( IFMGA).
